Double screw, extends to a height of close to 28 inches. . I have seen these promoted as bumper jacks and that would be a possibility. Very smooth in operation. Height closed is 11 1/2 inches. Some warpage on the bottom that would be worked out with anvil and heavy hammer. Was not bad so I never did anything with it. Otherwise, a good jack that would be fine on lighter loads. Cleaned and ready to display or use IMO. Actual weight is 6 1/2 lbs. May have been specific to a particular auto model, but I do not recall. From my personal collection. Lot 217
