Genuine Bulgin plug (usually incorrectly referred to as a socket) which commonly is found in the base of a taxi roof sign (or school of motoring sign etc.) to accept a power socket to light up the sign. This is just the plug and securing nut without any wiring attached, and to do so you will need a soldering iron or alternatively the correct sized crimp connectors. This is universally used by all UK sign manufacturers, but not by Chinese made signs! Some vintage hi-fi's use these too.The pins are clearly marked "L" & "N" that is live & earth, and if the sign has LED's it is vital that the connections are wired correctly otherwise the LED's will not light. The price is for one unit, but you can buy as many units as you wish, and the default 2nd class postage charge will remain the same as one unit. That's right - no increase in 2nd class postage charge no matter how many you buy! (Note - modest additional charge for other postage options, and does NOT apply to international). However many you buy, as with all our items, they will be despatched FAST! - please check our feedback for proof of this, but delivery time does depend on the Royal Mail, so if you're in a hurry please choose at least the 1st class post option.
