Here is how you tell the knock offs from Ours… they have the wire harness in the wrong place, they have them in the middle of the mirror housing so you need to cut out a hole to make it work.. see the photos with diagrams showing the correct and incorrect locations, the knock offs have sealed screw holes so you need to pierce them as well, The China ones are much thinner only 7mm thick and are very flimsy, Ours are 10mm thick that makes a big difference the knock offs also have a bad smell like petroleum ours have no smell. China got wise and knocked off our parts but they are made off inferior materials not the same!They are just cheap junk trying to be passed off as quality items like ours, there’s are flimsy and don’t put the necessary resistance on the mirror housing therefore not providing a good seal. they have over 8 listings using different user IDs that alone should tell you something about the selling practices.
