This is an original NOS battery retainer. This is an original late style as used on the 1960-64 USMC M38A1 contract jeeps. Of course this will fit the standard M38A1 as well. This can be used for many other Willys jeep applications. This is a little dirty from very long term storage. Simply wipe it off with a damp rag. These are rubber coated steel. QTM Parts
