It is Made in USA, by Diode Dynamics, in St. Louis, Missouri. NOTE: Good working knowledge of electronics and wiring is required for installation. This product is intended only for experienced users. If you are unfamiliar with your vehicle’s wiring system or have questions on function, we would strongly recommend professional installation. With this simple power control module, you can convert any LED tail lamp to also function as the turn signal, for a much more modern appearance. It will work very well in any vehicle where the turn signal is a traditional filament bulb. To install this module, you only need to work with the brake light wire and turn signal wire on each side of your vehicle. Installation is simple, but we include instructions with every order. Once you’ve converted the tail light to function as the turn signal, you’ll be left with an unused bulb! When installing, you can choose to eliminate it and leave it off, or keep it blinking as a turn signal. Or, if you convert the old turn signal bulb to an LED, you can easily make it another brake light! If your old turn signal bulb had a clear lens, you can throw a white LED in, and tap the backup light circuit to create a brighter backup light! Since this module opens a bulb to be used how you please, the possibilities for configuration are endless, and we include many scenarios in the instructions. Also remember, this module simply controls 12V power, and can be used for a variety of purposes, if you’re feeling creative! This module is designed to power LED tail lamps only, with a maximum two amp total power draw. It should not be used to illuminate incandescent bulbs. Please note: By eliminating the factory turn signal with this module, you will decrease power draw on the turn signal circuit, causing most vehicles to hyperblink, as the vehicle thinks the bulb is out. To fix this, we recommend replacing the flasher module if possible, or you can install resistors to replicate the factory load. Installation: Installation Guide: Click to download Resistors Description When you replace incandescant turn signal bulbs with LEDs in most vehicles, the vehicle will start hyperblinking. This is because the LED uses much less power, and the vehicle thinks the bulb is out. You can use these resistors to fix the problem of hyperblinking when you convert to LED bulbs. Diode Dynamics resistors have 6″ leads for easier installation, and have a rating of 50 watts, 6ohm. This is usually enough to compensate for one bulb. If you are installing four LED turn signals (front and rear) we recommend four total resistors. All orders must provide a phone number in case the courier must contact your for customs or delivery. Returns Returns must be processed with 30 days of purchase. Returns process is simple. To process a return: Go to your purchase history. Find the item you purchased. To the right of the item there’s a drop down menu with a «return this item» option. Follow steps to print a return label from your printer. Package securely and Seal up the package and tape the label to the package and give the package to the shipping company. If there is any defect in the product upon delivery, Octane Lighting is to be notified by the purchaser within 24 hours otherwise the product will be deemed to have been delivered in good order and condition. Warranty on all brand new products will be the manufacturer’s warranty and at the manufacturers discretion. The warranty does not apply: In respect of any consumables or other consumables in respect of the product or any part of the product. Where the purchaser is in breach of any of our terms and conditions. Where any fault of the product has been caused by misuse, neglect, accident or abnormal conditions of operation or use contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations or operating instructions. We reserve the right to refuse any returns that: Are incomplete or missing parts; or Are not returned in their original packaging, Product cannot be identified by product serial number, Show signs of physical damage to the product or its packaging, Do not include a valid Return Authorization Number on the shipping label, Have an expired Return Authorization Number, Purchaser fails to show proof of original purchase. If your item is damaged in shipping we will likely require you to send a photo of the damaged product to us or return the item for replacement. If you encounter any issues with your merchandise you must call and inform us within 30 days of the delivery date. After 30 days from the date of delivery, all sales are final. You are responsible for all shipping charges and/or price differences when returning or exchanging an item. If returning or exchanging products, all merchandise must be in NEW condition with the original packaging, materials, and instructions. Merchandise returned in damaged or unacceptable condition will be returned to you without exchange. If you need to return a holiday gift, you must contact us before January 1st. Holiday gift returns or exchanges are only eligible for orders placed on November 14 through December 25. All returns or exchanges must be in BRAND NEW condition and in the ORIGINAL packaging. If you received the wrong merchandise, please contact us within 14 days and we will send you a return postage label. Once the merchandise is received back at our location we will ship out the correct merchandise. All shipping mistakes, incorrect products, or quantities will be shipped out via ground. Shipping can be upgraded at your expense. If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable, or an incomplete address, you are responsible for all reshipment costs. If you do not wish to have the package reshipped, a refund will be issued less the cost of all shipping. For International customers, the refund will be less all shipping charges and incurred brokerage fees. If you «refuse» a package from our company, you are responsible for any and all charges that are incurred for the shipping. Any refunds issued for «refused» packages will be less any and all shipping charges (original and return shipping charges).
