Fix your 07-14 GM Truck dashboard with a molded plastic dash cover from DashSkin! This cover is molded to the exact shape of your vehicle’s dashboard, and mounts right over the top of your dash to cover cracks and holes. The cover requires no special tools to install, and mounts using silicone adhesive (included). This DashSkin covers the whole top of the dash including the defrost panel as one piece. The workmanship of the cover is warranted for life against cracking, warping, etc. Dash Skins even work great with large pieces of dash missing, as long as there is enough dashboard left on all edges (perimeter) to serve as a stable and level foundation for the cover. If you have cracks you will be covering, we advise cleaning your original dashboard well with degreaser, and bracing any cracks using some of the included silicone adhesive. This dash cover fits ALL 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL vehicles, and all 07-14 Silverado LTZ (only!) and Sierra SLT/Denali (only) pickups. HOW TO HELP STOP ANNOYING RATTLES: If your dash is rattling or sqeaking, using EXTRA silicone adhesive in all of the cracks can help make a huge difference! Apply the first tube of silicone that is included with the cover to the underside of the skin just like the instructions specify, then use your extra adhesive (purchased at any hardware store, 100% silicone RTV adhesive) to apply directly to the dash itself to fill all cracks with a thick bead of silicone, and outline any holes (if you have holes) with the silicone just before installing the cover. We don’t recommend allowing this to cure first, apply the skin while all of silicone on the cracks is still wet so the cracks bond to the underside of the skin, this way the cover can help hold everything still like a membrane of support. If you have rattles coming from underneath the dash, obviously this surface treatment will not help stop those noises, but for the vast majority of our local installs, this little trick works extremely well! NOTE: If the clips under your defrost dash panel (nearest the windshield) are broken, be sure to consider applying some silicone to the broken clips as well to hold that piece still, this can be a hidden source of rattles as well.
